Isaac Rogers
Isaac is a first year master's student. Before joining the DREAMS lab, he got his Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech with a major in Robotics and Mechatronics. He has been associated with the DREAMS lab since 2019, when he started work as an undergraduate researcher. Notably, he led a design team in 2023 that worked with Boeing to create a flight-critical spare part using robotic wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). The project focused on multi-planar slicing methods to minimize the support material needed. Currently, Isaac's interests are in the applications of robotic wire arc systems and hybrid manufacturing.
Outside of research, Isaac enjoys rock climbing and spending time with friends.
